From November 5th to 7th, 2024, the 11th Youth Entrepreneur Training Program themed "Strive to Showcase Talents, Lead the Way to a Bright Future," jointly organized by the District Party Committee Organization Department, District Party School, District Science and Technology Commission, District Investment Promotion Office, District Youth League Committee, and District Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was successfully held at the District Party School. Ni Kailing, the co-founder of Asia Talent, participated in the training.

Wei Jing, Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a mobilization speech. Xu Huimin, Deputy Director of the District Party Committee Organization Department and Director of the District Talent Work Bureau; Qu Qiang, Executive Deputy Director of the District Party School (District Administrative Academy); Li Gang, Deputy Director of the United Front Work Department of the District Party Committee and Secretary of the District Chamber of Commerce and Industry Party Committee; Zhang Jiaji, Deputy Director of the District Science and Technology Commission; Zhang Huifan, Deputy Director of the District Investment Promotion Office; Zhang Lin, Deputy Secretary of the District Youth League Committee; and Wang Hong, Vice Chairman and Third-Grade Researcher of the District Chamber of Commerce and Industry, were also in attendance. Qu Qiang, Executive Deputy Director of the District Party School (District Administrative Academy), presided over the opening ceremony.

Participants in this training program were divided into four study groups. Centering around the training objectives, they communicated and introduced themselves, their business operations, development plans, and talent construction. The participants spoke freely and sought common development, colliding with sparks of youthful thinking.

During the training, the participants visited Minsheng Technology at the Taopu Low-Altitude Economic Industry Integration Base, the chairman enterprise of the District Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Boko Technology, and the Home of Private Enterprises in Putuo District along the Su River. Through these visits, they personally experienced the vigorous force of Putuo in modern technology application, learned about the miniature history of the national industry along the Su River, the dazzling images of leading enterprises in Putuo's private economy, and the distinctive highlights of the work of the District Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Professor Xu Genxing from the Municipal Party School delivered a special lecture titled "Implementing the Spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and Achieving High-Quality Development of the Private Economy in the Further Comprehensive Deepening of Reforms." He used vivid cases to analyze in-depth and in a simple manner the favorable policy environment faced by the private economy in the current context of comprehensively deepening reforms, as well as the path to high-quality development of the private economy. He also encouraged everyone to strive to be heroes, wise people, and brave ones.

Dr. He Xiaobin, an independent economist and council member of the China Chief Economist Forum, gave a special lecture titled "Viewing the Economic Situation from New Central Policies," starting from the background and specific content of policy formulation, analyzing changes in macroeconomic indicators and industrial development trends from a professional perspective, and predicting the short-term and long-term impacts of policies on the economic situation.

Shen Yiyuan, former Vice President and Associate Professor of Putuo District Party School, delivered a special lecture titled "In-Depth Study and Implementation of the Spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee," covering three aspects: tremendous changes that have taken place in China since the reform and opening up, the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee initiating a new round of reforms, and the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee outlining a new blueprint for reforms. He used numerous historical stories and in-depth and simple current event analyses to provide the participants with a unique and captivating "political lesson."

Professor Wang Fan, from the Fudan Development Research Institute and Ph.D. supervisor, introduced the characteristics of media in the new environment, as well as coping skills and strategies. In the subsequent tabletop exercise session, participants engaged in group discussions and simulations based on a simulated public opinion incident involving the issuance of consumer vouchers, combining what they had learned from the course. Representatives of the participants eagerly spoke up, expressed their views, and produced insightful quotes, creating a lively atmosphere on-site. Professor Wang Fan provided excellent comments on the participants' simulations, imparting key points for solving problems.

At the graduation ceremony, Li Gang fully affirmed the learning outcomes of the training program and put forward three hopes for the participants: Firstly, he hoped that young entrepreneurs would integrate their own development into the overall development of Putuo, taking advantage of policies while giving back to the region, aligning their employees' visions with their corporate visions. Secondly, he hoped that young entrepreneurs would maintain confidence and determination in their development amidst complex situations, retain their passion and resilience, recognize the situation while continuously enhancing their abilities. Thirdly, he hoped that young entrepreneurs would have a global mindset and a strong sense of social responsibility, helping others when they can, and actively fulfilling their social responsibilities.
